WORLD-CLASS printed circuit board manufacturer Lyncolec is pioneering new technology

"In Line AOI Inpection back to Customer Data"

Lyncolec gains AS9100 accreditation

Installed in March 2006.  Two state of the art auto-load-unload drill/rout systems with depth drill and rout capabilities will allow Lyncolec to continue it's commitment to ensure the best solutions to it's customers requirement both technically and commercially.

Our X-Ray systems has allowed Lyncolec to further improve it's throughput and registration by implementing Glass to Glass printing of inner and outer layers thus eliminating faults from photo contacts such as Diazos. Our inner layer core printing is done with out the need to punch cores as the X-Ray system will tool after etching process

Combined with the X-Ray Drill / Tooling system the Inductive Welding system utilises the X-Ray tooling to ensure layer to layer registration during it's Welding sequence thereby removing the need for old style Bonding Pins/Rivets.

Increased accuracy of Layer to Layer & Hole to Pad.  This highly accurate X-Ray system scans each layer prior to Inductive Pinless Welding, Measures and compensates for any material de-stabilisation that may have been encounted from the Etching Process thereby ensuring inner layer to layer registration. Each layer is then tooled on the X-Ray for layer to layer registration.

The X-ray Multi-Mirror (XMM)

launched by ESA on December 10th, 1999 and carries two distinct types of telescope: three Wolter type-1 X-ray telescopes, with different X-ray detectors in their foci, and a 30-cm optical/UV telescope with microchannel-plate pre-amplified CCD detector in its focal plane. The Optical Monitor can provide spectral resolution by the use of broad and narrow band filters contained within a filter wheel, plus there are also two grisms in the filter wheel for low resolution spectroscopy.

Astrosat

Most astronomical objects in the known Universe emit radiation spanning the complete electromagnetic spectrum stretching from long wavelenth emissions to extremely short wavelenth gamma rays. Hence for a detailed understanding of the physical processes that give rise to frequency dependent, time-variable phenomena it is essential to carry out nearly simultaneous frequency observations.

GAIA
